Aurora
Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian musician and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well received by music blogs. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band, was released for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are two of the artist's high-profile recordings. Katy Perry's support for her track Runaway on her blog gave the artist some additional appreciation. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memory involves finding a small piano that was in her basement and bewildered by the sound it made. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. The Aksnes family encouraged her to not to pursue music solely to have fun or to aid in development but instead, she should pursue it. She began writing her own songs. Her influences include renowned authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan and her love of Bjork's style. Responding to her mother's advice that she should not be aiming at achieving fame through their songwriting skills, she instead recognize the significance of their lives as well as their contribution to society. The piano was first played by her when she was just six and started writing songs by the time she was nine. It was not until she turned 14 that she revealed her plans to her parents. It was never a dream to turn into Aurora. The only thing she loves is to write music. To her music, is the best way to express anything.
